Permanent path of Cascinotta camping
The full path marked (red dots on a white background and red arrows) is a ring of about 30 km, between the municipalities of San Giorgio and Ponte dell’Olio.
The start is at the foot of the hill, right from Cascinotta camping; follow the country road leading to the "Home of the Bear". Riding through the borders of cultivated fields and vineyards, you descend into a wooded valley a river crossing between climbing and descending, single trek into the forest and lands on a dirt road to the Castle of Tolloro, from here continue alongside the river Ogone until reaching a local road that leads to the community of Creta.
Continue for a short distance direction Castione, go down to the right and climb right after a cattle track alongside beautiful vineyards clay, the compact soil (not recommended in cases of intense rain) gives satisfaction to MTB amateurs who can also enjoy a panoramic view with an infinity of shades of color.
After catching a dirt gravel road you arrive at the asphalted road towards Palazzo, continue to the City of Mistadello Castione and climb towards the Colombara Folignano Bernino. After about 1 km, at the arrow on white background with red showing Ponte dell’Olio MTB, go down to the right on a path of about 2 km, with characteristics of single trek between curves and bends in the woods and a steep slopewhich leads to a cart. A quick climb and descend back into the woods until you reach the village of Zaffignano.
From Zaffignano the itinerary share a street mix asphalt and gravel with an average gradient of about 12-15% to reach the top, turn on a forest path between small climbs and descents that come to a cattle track through the fields in close to the Ca Montano, continue until reaching the Cascinotta starting point.
